Earn Free Gift Cards Online

Anyone interested in earning free gift cards? If so, sign up using this link http://bit.ly/6zcOsA

Do not refresh the page or surf elsewhere until the sign up is complete. Just what can you get? Amazon cards, paypal cash, electronics, sports items and a whole lot more. The website is known as Swagbucks and it is a customer loyalty rewards program and has been featured on many US television and radio stations.

It was started by a group of individuals who wanted to reward people for doing things that they normally do online everyday. When I started there were less than 20,000 people on their Facebook page and it now stands at more than 637,000 members and that does not include everyone who has hooked up to this site without joining the Facebook page to earn points that are redeemable for cash, gift cards, electronics and so much more.

Many new things have been added to the site since I first joined. Some of the new features include games, videos, and coupons. When you watch the videos, play the games, or even print out the coupons, you are rewarded with points. There are many other ways you can get points on a daily basis.

This is just a small list of some of the things that I have earned enough points for; a Kindle 3G, 2 Canon Digital Cameras, Amazon books (both for the ereader and print copy), 2 huge Teflon coated woks, computer equipment, ipod accessories, and a lighted Kindle cover. There might be more things, I just do not recall all of it. And I still have money in my Amazon account. Another great thing that I forgot to mention .... did I tell you the cost of all of these things? NOT A CENT! No shipping costs out of my pocket as I had enough in my Amazon account to cover shipping.

Unlike some of the other websites, (we won't get into naming them) that have millions of members and one or two big items that you can redeem your points for, this site really works. When you redeem your points for a gift card, it takes 10-14 days to process. It will be either sent to your home or electronically sent via email, this is dependent on where you reside.

Just how do they make their money? ADVERTISING! Ad revenue from sponsorship and partner sites as well as cpc (cost per click). They started out as a private label website that shared its revenue with non-profit organizations and evolved into bringing it out to various brands. Some of the brands include; Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, as well as many of those in the music industry and much more.

This year, the website is on its way to earning a whopping 20 MILLION in revenue. Not too bad for a business idea that was formulated by a group of 4 people with Scott Dudleson at the helm.

Did you know that at one time, there could only be one account per household, but that has since changed. So what are you waiting for? I do hope that you will sign up using my referral link, that can be found here ----->http://bit.ly/6zcOsA

Remember when you click the sign up link to kindly input the information without surfing to another page or refreshing the page, so that you will show up as my referral. Thanks kindly! I really appreciate it. Oh, by the way, this website only accepts those who reside in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Who knows what the future holds? Perhaps soon they will branch out to include more countries around the world.

Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil Giveaway

Earlier today, I received a product from Tropical Traditions to do a product review about. I was amazed at not only the size of the sample to review (a whopping 32 ounce glass jar) but also the product quality. Just what was this product? It was a jar of  Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil.

The dangers of polyunsaturated oils is well known and so I decided to switch to more healthier alternative. I have used other brands in the past and all I can say is that none of them even come close to this Virgin Coconut Oil.

This coconut oil is 100% organic and made in the Philippines from hand-picked harvesting. Traditional processing methods are also used to make this amazing product.  It contains healthy fats such as Lauric Acid, which is also found in human breast milk.

Here is a video that explains how this coconut oil was first discovered, make sure to check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h6eycjf29M

Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil does not need to be refrigerated, however, I did put it in my fridge for the time being due to the fact that it is hot and humid outside.

I used the Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil this morning as an additive to a small bowl of granola that I was having for breakfast. You might have visions of a glob of oil floating in the milk. No way! The oil only enhanced my morning granola with the rich and yummy taste of coconut. Which also happens to be one of my favorite things to use in cooking and baking.

For our evening meal I decided to pull the large package of shrimp out of the freezer. I thawed them in cold water and then tossed them into a non-stick frying pan with approximately 2 Tablespoons of the oil. I had some leftover plain rice from the other night that I quickly through into my wok with some of the coconut oil, a touch of sesame oil, some frozen vegetables and some soy sauce. I also added a couple of shakes of a blend of spices that I use when preparing meat, just to add a little hint of spice to my coconut shrimp.

Tomorrow, I think that i will use Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil to fry up those chicken breasts that I recently bought.

Hydroshot Water Bottle Product Review and Giveaway

George Sherry, of Deva Products Limited, who is the director behind Hydroshot Products, has sent me two of their water bottles to do a product review about. I know, most of you are thinking, well a water bottle is a water bottle. Right?  Wrong!

Seems that the engineers and designers got something right when they designed the Hydroshot Water Bottle and closures. Unlike the ones of old, that were too hard to open, or spilled all over the place, the technology used in the design of caps and closures of these water bottles, eliminate those problems.

Deva Products, in tune with the environment and promoting a healthier lifestyle for everyone, has developed the patented Hydroshot Water Bottle with biodegradable plastics and raw materials. These bottles are, of course, not only BPA-free, but include the use of 100% FDA approved food grade materials.

These bottles are stain resistant and do not leave a bitter taste after being used several times. Of course, you will be expected to thoroughly empty any unused liquid from it nightly as well as wash the bottle out.

The caps used to cover the bottles are also patented that have a positive shut off and locking feature as well as flow control. The amount of fluid that you need, when you want to hydrate yourself, is available by simply squeezing the bottle.

The bottles are suited for any age and can fit in any bike water bottle holding rack as well as most cup holders that are in or made for cars.

The Hydroshot Water Bottle and on/off value cap can be made from your own color choice, permitting that you make the production minimum requirement. Not only do you have your own color choice, but you may also use these water bottles as a promotional item for your next business promotion. Custom labeling or decals can be designed to get your business name out there in the physical world.

Lucky for one of my readers and the generousity of George Sherry, over at Deva Products for this next promotional giveaway. One of my lucky readers is going to be the recipient of a HydroShot Water Bottle.

Last Writeup about the Actifry

Think that this will be my last post about meals with the Actifry as I would like to move on to other things. However, I will continue using it until it is time to send it back. Sure wish that it was a keeper, however, seems that there are only so many of them sent out to product test.

Tonight's meal included fried rice (that I cooked in the machine with leftover cooked rice) along with some cubed fresh chicken, carrots, potato nochi, spices, onions, garlic, pasta sauce and parmesan cheese. Both meals were done separately, the rice took about 15 minutes and the chicken meal took about 45.  It is a great machine to use up leftovers, fresh food as well as frozen food.

I would recommend this product for those who can afford the $299.00 price tag. Make sure to get a family sized unit, if you are purchasing one to make sure that there is enough room for all your food stuff to have room to move around within the machine.

Hopefully, the good folks at Tfal will change their minds about letting me keep the machine as the nice price tag is something that personally I cannot afford  at this present time.

Another Round with Actifry

Well, seeing that I made a bunch of barbecued chicken yesterday in the Actifry from Tfal that I was sent to do a product test and product review for, I decided that I would try out the machine by making homemade french fries.

I washed about 10 medium sized new potatoes, dried them with paper towel and added I Tablespoon of oil. Added some Tex Mex spices, some onion and garlic powder and a little french fry salt and set the timer for 45 min.

Hopefully, these will turn out better than the onion rings from yesterday! Will edit this post to let you know what the outcome of the homemade fries with this machine.

Well, the fries are done and they not only look good, they taste good too!  Just like you got them off of a chip truck without the grease. The Actifry is definitely a homemade french fry maker.

Budget Friendly Free Recipes

In order to cut some of your food bills, many people are looking for ways to stretch those food dollars. One of the simplest ways to help stretch those dollars is to make meals ahead and freeze them as well as prepare plenty of casserole dishes.

Casserole dishes are fairly easy to prepare and contain a wide variety of important nutrients that are needed on a daily basis. There are many budget friendly free recipes that can be found online.

One of my favorites are recipes using Tater Tots, which are little frozen, rounded hash brown potatoes. These taters can be placed on top of mince, chopped turkey, ham, tuna, tofu, or any other type of protein.

The meat or protein item is placed in a casserole dish, topped with a can of creamed soup, frozen or fresh vegetables. Then the Tater Tots are placed on top. Bake at 400 for an hour. If you want to add grated cheese during the last 15 minutes, go ahead.

Many different variations for budget friendly free recipes can be found online. These recipes are a great way to get the most out of your shopping dollar. And to save even more, make sure that you use some of the free coupons that are found in your local paper, magazines or even online.

Meal Time with Actifry

You all know that I received an Actifry from TFal to product test and do a product review of. They sent me the machine to use for a couple of weeks. I will keep you informed about the meals that I have made with it and the results of them.

In case you did not know, Actifry is a machine that allows you to cook meals with little or no oil at all, and although a little steep in price, this machine can do more than just cook fries.

It is great for those who like the taste of fried foods without having to cook the food in it. It can cook either frozen or fresh food in less time than it takes for your oven to heat up, which is great during the warm weather.

This machine comes with a handy measuring spoon for the oil as well as a small condensed paper recipe book as well as one that is a softcover and somewhat larger. There is virtually little guessing with this machine as all you do is plug it in add the food (with or without the 3 tablespoons of oil), close the lid and set the timer. Then you can do something else while your dinner cooks.

As I mentioned not only does the Actifry make fries, it cooks meat, desserts, frozen foods, potatoes, beans, and so much more.

Tonight I picked up some chicken thighs that already been spiced up with barbecue seasoning, along with some frozen onions rings and some potato salad. That along with some herbed rolls, completed the meal.

As for cooking with the Actifry, I was delighted to discover that it was big enough inside to hold 9 good sized thighs. I did not add any oil to the pan, I simply placed them in the machine and set the timer to 35 minutes, originally. I, then added another 10 minutes to it when this cycle was complete.

The machine slowly churned the chicken as it heated up and cooked it to perfection. When it was done, I placed them in a covered dish and then drained out all the oil so that I could start afresh with the onion rings.

I rinsed the dish and wiped it clean with a paper towel and then I placed a couple of tablespoons of oil in it and added two bags of onion rings. I set the timer and off I went to do something else. Well, to be perfectly honest, I ended up trying to crisp them up in the oven as they were a little soggy.

Perhaps this was an error on my part as I am thinking that I should have perhaps only done one bag at a time. Another thing that I did not do was separate the rings, I just dumped the contents of the bag into the machine. Live and learn, so they say. I will attempt to make these again before I send the machine back.

Next item I might do is a baked fruit dessert, not sure yet. Maybe I will make a fruit compote, toss in some apples, mango, pears, butter, cinnamon and little brown sugar. I know I will definitely make some homemade fries!

Will keep you posted about my next venture with cooking with the Actifry from Tfal.

Alpo Dog Food Sample

I think I speak for real dogs everywhere when I say it’s high time for a heaping helping of canine common sense. Just look around. Dog spas? Designer sweaters? Give me a break. Only things a dog should be caught wearing are a collar and yesterday’s mud. ... Luckily, there are still some of us around who know how to keep it real. And are willing to help those who don’t. (Yep, talking to you Shih Tzu in Seattle with the rhinestone-studded tiara.) Okay, enough said. There are squirrels that need chasing. See More
