Never Underestimate Internet Hackers

Never underestimate the intelligence of those who hack into various accounts on the internet. When you least expect it, something will seem amiss. I know that I speak with experience. I was going to offer up a couple of my amazon cards for my awesome blog readers, but when I went to get the cards and the codes, it seems like someone bet me to them. And this was from a site that was supposed to be secure. Whether they went through the front door, back door or side entrance really is irrelevant as they did manage to get in.

One must really ask themselves, how secure is the internet really. Perhaps the government and sites that deal with money directly, such as banks, have different SSL encryptions that make it almost impossible to surpass, but perhaps this can be done as well. So, with that being said, if you are a collector of amazon cards as well as any other type of online gift card that is equal to a monetary amount, my advice to you is to apply them to the website that they are redeemable for as soon as you get them. You never know who is going to sneak in whichever door is not dead bolted and suddenly before you blink an eye, disappear with your hard earned gift cards.

Tropical Traditions Canadian Organic Raw Honey Giveaway- Ends Sept 9

I received another product for review from Tropical Traditions. This time it was the Canadian Organic Raw Honey. It was shipped to me in a 17.6 oz. glass jar. This product was delicious, creamy, smooth and wonderful on toast. It can also be added to tea.

Other ways you can use this honey is to put it on waffles, pancakes, oatmeal or even added to a zippy barbecue sauce. It is light colored and is derived from two factors, one being the source, which is floral and the other being the processing methods.

Anytime you wish to substitute this organic honey for sugar, it is 3/4 cup of honey to one cup sugar.

Tropical Traditions is offering one of these jars of their Canadian Organic Raw Honey to one of my blog readers.

Product Tester Needed for It Works Body Applicator

Well, guess what is up next for one of my lucky blog readers... an It Works Body Applicator! Thanks to the generous offering from Body Wrapsody! I am also going to be the recipient of one in which I will let you know how it worked out.

For those who are not aware of how the It Works Body Applicator Works it is a botanically based formula that is contained within a wrap that you simply put on your body where you want the cellulite or toning to take place. Most common places is the tummy area but the It Works also has contouring applicators for the chin and neck as well. In order to see results from the wrap you simply wrap it on your body and leave it on for 45 min. You must drink lots of water when you have this on as it releases a natural formula that works quickly to detoxify your body of all the toxins and also gives those fat cells a message to hit the road.

Many people have noticed a change in their contouring after just 45 minutes and dramatic results are often achieved within 24 to 72 hours.

If you are interested in being the product tester for this product, head over to the Facebook Fan Page and enter the Rafflecopter entry by clicking the post on the left hand side of the page. Follow the instructions there. Good Luck Everyone and thanks again to Body Wrapsody for sponsoring this giveaway.

Bee Free Honee Product Review and Giveaway- ENDS AUG 27

I was talking to Katie Sanchez, the owner and maker of Bee Free Honee about sending me a product to test and do a review of, in which she gracefully accepted. She sent me a jar of her product and also offered one up as a giveaway item for one of my blog readers. So in other words one of my lucky readers will be chosen as the product tester for this wonderful product. Now a bit of information about the product and then on to the review!

Bee Free Honee is totally vegan and consists of only three products. Apples, vegan cane sugar and lemon juice. Katie decided to move ahead with this product due to a couple of reasons. One being CCD or Colony Collapse Disorder in which scientists state that the bees in the US will be extinct in 2035 and the other was to be able to provide mothers with children under two years of age an edible product that was safe to eat without any fear of Botulism.

As for the packaging, she is doing this on her own without any sponsors and therefore, does not ship in glass bottles at this moment in time due to the cost. However, she shows and does her part towards helping the environment by utilizing HOPE bottles which are made of plastic, however, they break down more easily and are entirely food safe.

Bee Free Honee is sold in 40 cooperatives and grocery stores in the state of Minnesota as well as in Chicago and sold nationally through Amazon.com. All of her packaging is bought from Twin City companies and all of her apples support those who grow them in the Midwest. She hopes to one day have a place in upstate New York to make her honee, one in Washington State and of course, Minnesota.

She also envisions a plan for her future, if this product takes hold as much as she would like, of course, expand nationally and possibly reach the world market and employ hundreds of people in production facilities that she owns that are powered by wind and solar energy. She also hopes that this product grows to become a product that is found in everyone's pantry. If this product spreads as she hopes it will and her dream is a reality, she also mentioned that a certain amount of proceeds from the sale of Bee Free Honee will be donated to various charities, such as; research into saving the honey bee, autism , education, and for eradicating hunger in the US.

Let's do what we can to help support Katie and Bee Free Honee!

Now on to the review!

Bee Free Honee is all natural and vegan and can be used as a replacement for liquid honey. It looks and pours like liquid honey, however, it does not taste like it. It has the same color as bee honey as well as the consistency with pouring and spreading on bread or toast but does not have the heavy sugary taste.

To be completely honest, it is something that takes a little getting used to, especially for those who are inclined to have a sweet tooth. Me, myself, I do not like things saturated in sugar and having children in the home as well as diabetes in the family, I do my part to eliminate as much sugar as I can from our family meals.

Bee Free Honee has that perfect balance, not to sweet nor too tart. I have eaten it spread on buttered bread as well as on top of toast topped with peanut butter and then the Bee Free Honee. Yummy! You can definitely taste the apples. I have this at least three times a week.

So make sure that you go and check out Bee Free Honee and let's try to help make Katie's dream a reality. Thank you Katie for doing what you can to help preserve both the honey bee and our planet! More businesses both in the private and public sector should follow your example.

Now one of my blog readers are going to have a chance to be the product tester for Bee Free Honee.........but you got to do some stuff in order to be counted as a participant. And they are..........

Hey, It's Me!

Hey, it's me. So sorry that I have not been able to connect with some of you on the social media forums I am in. As you know there has been glitches and whatnot and although they tell you that it is for socializing, seems like they also like to freeze your account for a little while for making new friends. Hopefully, it will be back to normal pretty soon. Check out the fan page for the blog to see me and add me to your list as you probably was on there before.

On another note, while this is getting fixed. Please share the blog posts about which item needs a product tester for as from this side I cannot do it as much as I would like to.

Tropical Traditions Coconut Flakes Giveaway

Well, the folks at Tropical Traditions sure do know their coconuts! I received another one of their products to review and was quite amazed by the quality of the product. I received a whopping one gallon tub of their USDA Organic Coconut Flakes to try out.

When I opened the tub I expected to see the type of coconut flakes that we generally purchase in the grocery store. All I can say is these coconut flakes are large, natural tasting with no added sweetness, and no chemical additives.

I took out a couple of cups of the flakes and placed them in an airtight container and placed them on the kitchen counter. When we are going to have some dried or fresh fruit for an afternoon snack we now grab a couple of pinches of the coconut flakes as well. I have also added a little bit of the Tropical Traditions Coconut Flakes to my cereal in the morning. Next thing I think I will do is to add them to my peanut butter cookies.

To give you all an idea of the size of the tub of Organic Coconut Flakes that I received from Tropical Traditions, here is a picture;
